As a charity, HOPE Coventry is overseen by a team of Trustees. They ensure that we meet our charitable aims, using our resources wisely to build strong partnerships, speak out against poverty & injustice and give hope to Coventry residents.
Esther Storey
Esther has co-led CLM Church for almost 10 years, functioning as Co-Senior Pastor in seeking to build a strong city-centre church that is characterised by passion for the presence of God, courageous faith and partnership with others in the city and beyond to bring God’s Kingdom. Esther has been a trustee of HOPE Coventry since 2014, bringing to the board her passion for partnership working and experience of church leadership and project management.
Andrew Hillier
Andrew, now retired, was Development Director for the ExtraCare Charitable Trust, creating retirement villages for older people. He is an active member of Christian Life Ministries (CLM) church. He was one of the founding trustees of HOPE Coventry in February 2014 and brings experience of working in the charitable sector for over 30 years to HOPE Coventry. He serves as the charity’s treasurer.
Andrew Simpkins
Andrew has led at Jubilee Church Coventry for 20 years. He has a great deal of experience in strategic leadership, finance and governance.
Andrew has been a trustee of HOPE Coventry since 2017, and its vice-chair since January 2021.
Angus Ormes
Angus is part of the leadership team of Streams of Life Christian Fellowship, and has been a trustee of HOPE Coventry since it started in 2014. After a career in education, early retirement has enabled him to have an active role in the city, and with his wife Sally he currently leads the HOPE Coventry Healing on the Streets project.
Josh Maynard
Josh leads St James Styvechale church, and has been a trustee of HOPE Coventry since 2022.
Eniwaju Etomi
Eniiwaju Etomi is the Senior Pastor of RCCG Holy Ghost Zone Coventry, a charity she has led for 20 years. She has vast experience of working with young people and different Charities/NGOs across the globe. She’s a passionate transformational leader with experience of partnership with organisations and Churches worldwide. She was the chair of Coventry Street Pastors for 6 years. Eniwaju has been a Trustee since Hope Coventry became a registered Charity.
John Scouller
John has worked at Together for Change Coventry & Warwickshire since 2015 as Transforming Communities Development Worker, promoting initiatives which tackle poverty. He has been a member of St James Styvechale Church since the mid-1990s. He is also chair of the Warwickshire Corporate Parents Association. John became a trustee of HOPE Coventry in January 2020, bringing to the board his experience of networking, fundraising, charity governance and project management.
Adele Harris
Adéle is the Franchise lead for Hope into Action: Coventry, a charity that helps churches house the homeless as well as making it possible for Christians to share their wealth with the poor, since November 2017.
Adéle has been a trustee of HOPE Coventry since September 2021 and brings a passion for church unity and experience of partnership working.
