HOPE Coventry Team
The HOPE Coventry team look after all HOPE Coventry’s projects and volunteer base. They work alongside the Good Neighbours staff and CAP Coventry staff, as well as many wonderful volunteers.
Steve Elton
Steve has led Hope Springs Church with his wife Susie for 6 years, where they look to work alongside people, families, churches and other organisations to help them forward on their journey. Steve joined HOPE Coventry as a trustee in March 2022, bringing to the board his experience of partnership building and strategic planning. He has been COO since January 2023.

Christians Against Poverty Team
The CAP team work alongside many volunteers to deliver debt advice and money courses across Coventry.
Ian Burton
Following 10 years as a statistician with British Airways and then 20 years in ministry as a youth worker and pastor, Ian joined HOPE Coventry as the Debt Centre Manager for Christians Against Poverty in 2015. His role involves leading a team to support people across our city who have issues with debt and need support to budget their finances. Ian attends Coventry Vineyard church.

Our Good Neighbours team members coordinate Good Neighbours across the city, supporting clients and their volunteer befrienders.
Jess Day-Pollard
After working in youth outreach and education, Jess joined HOPE Coventry in September 2016. They work both as the Good Neighbours project manager and HOPE Coventry communications manager. Jess leads on finding friendship and support for older people locally, through hundreds of volunteers. They also connect churches & communities together. Jess attends St Clare’s at the Cathedral.
